LE JARDIN DU TIERS PAYSAGE

This is a garden designed by Gillies Clement in Saint Nazaire, France. The site was a former submarine base. I found this site very fascinating as it mixes a very harsh military style of ruined architecture with delicate and soft-flowing plants. It has links to biophilic design which is the practise of connecting people and nature with built environments, this is a design method that we will be focusing on in design projects 2.
